The hallway opens into the lounge, with comfortable sofas providing a space to relax, read, or watch TV, complemented by a fully equipped kitchen and a granite-topped food preparation island, perfect for home catering. The lounge’s patio windows lead out to the balcony, which wraps around the entire lounge space, ideally positioned to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.

Some of our properties have key boxes, which could be used if a personal check-in is not required, but generally, we prefer to provide a meet and greet service.
2. Important Information - We will send a welcome email before you arrive, and in your accommodation, you will find a comprehensive holiday guide packed with local recommendations.

4. Legal Matters:
• SEF Reporting - All rental property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report guests’ information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF). We will send a link to our SEF form for you to complete and return before your arrival. It is a mandatory and legal obligation.
• Tourist Taxes - Some municipalities within the Eastern Algarve region have now introduced a Tourist Tax, levied by the Government, not Smartavillas. You will be informed at the time of booking if you are required to pay this.
• Please note we will request a property security deposit via a 3rd party agency, details of which are available on request.
