The Neighborhood

Afandou is one of the largest villages of Rhodes, surrounded by verdant hills lying south of the island's capital. A lovely square can be found in the heart of the village, surrounded by cafes and bars. A good selection of taverns, restaurants and shops is also available. The apartment is in the center of the village, quite close by feet to all the places of interest, and also very close - just 5 minutes- from unspoiled Afandou beach! Afandou Beach, one of Rhodes' most extensive shorelines, can be found 19 km south of Rhodes Town, nestled within the natural bay near the charming village of Afandou. This versatile beach offers both well-organized commercial sections and untouched, unspoiled areas for visitors to enjoy.

Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House rules

  • General Rules:
  • Number of Guests: All reservations and financial agreements are made for a specific number of guests. No more than the pre-agreed number of guests shall be permitted unless otherwise agreed in advance.
  • Quiet Hours: Quiet hours for Greece during the summer period are: 15.00-17.30 and 23.00-07.00. As a general rule, guests should not disturb, endanger or inconvenience neighbors during any time of the day or night.
  • Parties & Loud Music: Our guests are kindly requested to respect the neighborhood. Loud music & parties are not allowed.
  • Arrival & Departure: Please respect the check-in and check-out times. Note: Late check-out may be possible, but it is subject to availability and there is a fixed rate of extra charges. Moreover, if guests do not check out on time, there is a fixed amount which will be charged.
  • Residential Use: Guests should comply with the laws that govern Greece during their stay at the house. Most importantly, they are not allowed to bring illegal, flammable, explosive or poisonous substances and objects to the house. The main purpose for renting the house is for residential use only and they should not use the house for any offensive and unlawful purposes.
  • Keys & Remote Controls: Charges will apply for the cost of replacement of mishandled or lost keys/remote controls.
  • Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed in the house interior. However, guests who wish to smoke are free to do so on the terrace/balcony/garden/pool. Never leave cigarette buds on the ground or any exterior space.
  • During your stay
  • - Pets are not allowed.
  • - We all think green, so before you leave the house make sure you have turned off all the air conditioners and all the electrical appliances. When operating the air-conditioners do not leave windows and doors open to avoid power consumption and any air conditioning damage.
  • - During any possible bad weather, we kindly ask our guests to close all the windows, all the balcony doors & the sunshades. Windows and doors should be also closed when leaving the house.
  • Damage/Loss/Injury:
  • - Upon arrival, our guests are informed of the available appliances and amenities within the house. It is essential that the guests contact the host about any irregularity or technical issues found upon check-in within a maximum period of 24 hours to intervene quickly. Any complaints that will be mentioned upon departure shall not be considered.
  • - Guests are obliged to use the appliances according to the indications of the house’s representative. Any damage or loss of objects and appliances should be immediately become known to the property representative. Guests will be asked to pay for the value of damaged or missing goods.
  • - It is forbidden to deteriorate furniture, decoration or property itself & remove anything from this property at any time for any reason. This applies for all the areas of the house (indoor and outdoor).
  • - Moreover, guests are expected to use all the provided amenities in such a way as to avoid injuries. The owner and the property representative are not responsible for any type of accident, injury, or illness which may occur while in the property.
  • - The house owners or their representatives are not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables. Guests are kindly requested to take care of their belongings & valuables left in the house.
  • Proper Outdoor Operation:
  • - Please do not leave rubbish outdoors, there is a risk of collecting insects or rodents.
  • Before departure: It is desirable to leave the house in the state it was when you got there. You shall not remove any of the house’s belongings to keep them as a souvenir.
