Ribbonwood, Kangaroo Valley - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season
Nestled high up on the escarpment between Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Cambewarra, Ribbonwood is the perfect place to get away and relax. It is casual, comfortable and contemporary, and has stunning views. The outdoor bath tub is also a great feature, perfect for cleaning up before relaxing in front of the wood burning stove.

Where will I be?
Ribbonwood is located on Cambewarra Lookout Road between Berry and Kangaroo Valley. It is a 15 minute drive to Berry, 15 minute drive to Kangaroo Valley, 20 minute drive to Nowra, and 30 minutes to Seven Mile Beach. The stunning Cambewarra Lookout and Cafe is also only a few minutes drive by car - well worth a visit to see the spectacular coastal views on a clear day!

And even if the weather is variable, you are treated to a rainforest experience that may include mystical mist, clouds in the valley below, or refreshing rain. Due to its location, the property is equi-distant to Kangaroo Valley, Berry or Bomaderry / Nowra - so it is a perfect base from which to explore many areas.
How is the property laid out?
Ribbonwood is a split level design with the master, master en-suite and a private deck area on the ground / entry level. Stairs then take you up to the main living area which has an open plan kitchen, dining and living room with forest views. There is also a second bedroom and second bathroom on this level. The second bedroom also has access to an outside deck area, the lawns, and the open air / outside bath tub.
The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine that is compatible with Nespresso coffee pods.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
Ribbonwood provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither Kangaroo Valley Escapes, Property Manager or the owners can 100% guarantee that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If internet access is important to you, please have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Ribbonwood has a forest setting, set amongst large, mature trees. It nonetheless has lovely, terraced lawn areas that lead from each of the two bedrooms to the stunning views of the valleys below. There is a good sized deck with outdoor dining table and chairs, and an open air bath tub, to take in the view of starry nights! The master bedroom also has a private deck with outdoor seating.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Ribbonwood has ducted airconditioning, for keeping you cool in summer, or warm in winter. In addition, there is a wood burning stove in the living room for extra ambience and warmth.

Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Ribbonwood is not a pet friendly property.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
