The name says it all: the picturesque Frisian village of Burdaard is inextricably linked to tourism. In the spring and summer the village is all about water sports. All the beautiful boats and ships sailing through the village provide a romantic spectacle.
During the freezing winter you can skate on many canals and locks and with a bit of luck you can also experience the well-known phenomenon "the Elfstedentocht".
The Frisian landscape with beautiful nature, ancient farms, windmills, green meadows and beautiful villages and towns can be discovered in many ways. The whole environment is interspersed with cycling and hiking trails but also rich in waterways. It is certainly worthwhile to take a cruise and admire the beauty from the water. Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
