Interior
Casa Bernardino has recently been restructured, with special attention given to the materials which are all local (terracotta and travertine) and to being eco-friendly: for example, the flooring is heated using wind energy. The house is on several floors, following the natural slope of the ground and is divided into two wings, internally joined. The main entrance leads directly to the ample, fully-equipped kitchen, with fireplace and spacious table next to the dining area with large panoramic windows. Going down six steps we find the second wing of the house, where you will find a living room with sofas (including a double sofa bed, fit for young guests) accessible also from the outside, a bathroom with shower and washing machine. A wooden staircase with 14 steps will take you up to the higher floor of the second wing, with 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom with shower and both with access to the small outdoor terrace. From the entrance, there are 14 steps leading to the first floor, with a small bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with access to the panoramic terrace. Four steps lead to the studio, with a double sofa bed (fit for young guests) and access to a covered terrace, boasting a hammock and overlooking the sea, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. Three steps will take you from the corridor of this floor to a double bedroom, while three steps down there is another double bedroom with access to the panoramic terrace. All the bedrooms have outdoor access.
