Buchan Valley Getaway is situated in the rural town of Buchan, in the East Gippsland region, which is 42 minutes away from the coastal town of Lakes Entrance. This retreat can be found near the iconic Buchan Caves and the scenic Snowy River. Enjoy easy access to Lake Tyers Beach and explore the natural wonders of the region. Imagine a place where you can bask in the stunning valley views, where peace and tranquility await you. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria retreats here, we advise that you bring your necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that this is a self-catering accommodation, and breakfast or lunch will not be provided to guests. We kindly request all guests to take note of this before arrival. Guests will have access to the tiny house, main gate, and park their car at the second gate after driving up the driveway (or take it down if it’s a 4x4). By car: - 4 hours from MELBOURNE - 350 KMS. The nearest major town is Barnsdale 50 KM’s away. - Guest can come with 2WD or 4WD but to get to the tiny home, it’s best with a 4WD as it’s located in a paddock, which is grassy and has no dirt road to it. By public transportation: We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there are no public transport that travels directly to our property. - Charcoal BBQ Grill is available - Tap Water is available at no charge - Pets are not allowed on the property - No smoking allowed on the property - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Telstra has a good signal and the rest has no signal - We have friendly sheep on the farm. Please exercise caution - Telstra and Optus have good signals and the rest have weak signals - Please shut the gates before entering and leaving due to sheep on site - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more.
