Welcome to Catherine Cottage of the Coast Cottages Community on St. Simons Island. This beautifully remodeled and re-decorated three bedroom, three bathroom Beach Cottage is located just a short stroll to the best beaches in the area. Coastal Cottages are in a very desirable location. You’ll find charming southern architecture with wide, breezy streets. These elegantly appointed beach homes are surrounded by lush natural landscaping and brick-paved lanes. A king-size bed with private en-suite with a tub/shower combination is located on the first floor. The second bedroom on the first floor has a twin bed with a trundle and a set of bunk beds. The 2nd bedroom also has an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. There is a stackable washer/dryer located in the main hallway closet. When you arrive on the 2nd floor, you will be amazed at the open floor plan and high ceilings. The second floor features the den, dining area and kitchen as well as a King size bedroom with private en-suite featuring a walk-in shower. The dining area has room at the table for four and the kitchen bar has additional seating for 4. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for a great home cooked fresh seafood dinner! Afternoons can be spent on one of the two front porches - pick a swing or a chair and watch the sun set over the marsh! There is parking for two cars in front of the cottage. Outside the back door, there is a outdoor shower - conveniently located off the pathway (that leads to the community pool). A short stroll from any of the cottages leads to a spectacular oceanside pavilion and pool facility unrivaled along the St. Simons Island shoreline. Enjoy biking, swimming, kayaking, shopping, or dining at one of St. Simons’ fabulous restaurants - all very close by! The south pool is heated automatically by the HOA Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and from March 15 to April 15 for spring break.
