The community of Headwaters only allows rentals of 7 nights or longer. This home offers special rates for monthly stays.
Upon arriving, you’ll be immediately captivated by its stunning architectural design, which seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. The exterior features a harmonious combination of natural stone, cedar shingles, and expansive windows that allow for seamless integration with the surrounding natural beauty.
As you step through the grand entrance, you’ll be greeted by an inviting foyer adorned with warm hardwood floors, elegant lighting fixtures, and artisanal woodwork throughout. The open-concept living spaces are designed to provide a sense of both intimacy and spaciousness.
The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a generous center island. It opens to the dining area with panoramic views of the lush, forested landscape, creating a delightful ambiance for dining.
The master suite is a true retreat, featuring a private entrance to the back patio and a spa-like en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Each of the four additional bedrooms is thoughtfully designed and furnished to ensure the utmost comfort for guests.
The entertainment options within this luxury home are endless. A fully equipped media room offers the perfect spot for movie nights, while a well-appointed game room with pool table and card table makes this area ideal for spending time with the family. For relaxation, the outdoor living spaces are a true delight, featuring a large patio with plenty of seating and a relaxing fire pit area.
Located right outside the charming town of Banner Elk, you’ll be minutes from a wealth of outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, and golf, as well as a vibrant arts and dining scene.

All guests must stop by the guard house to receive your vehicle pass, directions to the house and a temporary code for the gate entry, and other information. The Guardhouse hours are 7am to 7pm Monday through Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sundays. We encourage tenants to arrive during guard hours so they can help answer any questions. If you are unable to arrive during guard hours, you can call security and they will provide instructions on how to enter. Their phone number will be provided with arrival information 48-hours before check in.

Guests staying at this home have access to the beautiful amenities of the Headwaters at Banner Elk community. Some of these are shown in the gallery, beginning with the "Deer Creek Park" photo.

- This home is pet friendly for mature well-trained dogs under 30lb each. Pet fee is $50/nt per pet.
- AWD/4WD vehicles are required for our mountain homes during winter for inclement weather. In heavy snow, chains may also be necessary to access the property.
- Be sure to bring a NC fishing license and gear so you can enjoy fishing in the community pond.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- There is one exterior security camera at this home - on the covered entryway, facing the front door and driveway.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
