Welcome to Blue Heaven! This custom built home is the magical mountain getaway you’ve been craving!
As you enter the home you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views through the wall of windows in the great room. This room offers vaulted tongue & groove ceilings, a stone gas fireplace with TV mounted above and cozy sectional couch in front of it, dining table for 6, and a kitchen with custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and an oversized island that also has 3 bar stools.
Blue Heaven offers 3 beautiful bedrooms for you to enjoy. On the main level is a King suite with TV and access to the deck, and the private bath has double vanities and a lovely oversized tiled shower.
Downstairs is a den with a wet bar + wine cooler, sleeper sofa, and a TV. There are two more bedrooms here, each with a Queen bed and a TV, and these two rooms share a full bath with a tub/shower.
There are two wonderful decks for you to relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. The lower level deck has the hot tub and a selection of Adirondack chairs. The main level deck has a chiminea, patio furniture, and a gas grill. Both decks offer spectacular long-range views of the timeless Blue Ridge mountains rolling into the distance.
Blue Heaven is located between Boone and Blowing Rock very close to the Aho Gap area of the Blue Ridge Parkway, so either town is just a scenic 10 minute drive away. All of the best shopping, dining, and attractions in the High Country are close by as well. Come make Blue Heaven your home away from home!
Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing a pet of any kind to this home, or for requesting an exception to this rule. PLEASE NOTE that the homeowner’s dogs have been in the property so this home is not ideal for individuals with animal allergies.
- Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- This home has a gravel driveway with capacity for 4 vehicles. 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- There are 23 natural stone steps to enter the main level of the home. Because they are made of stones they do have some variations in the texture and surface.
- Blue Heaven does not currently offer an electric vehicle charging station. Guests are not permitted to charge EVs at this home. Violators will be fined $500 plus the cost of additional energy usage.
- There is an exterior doorbell cam mounted beside the front door facing the front steps and another one facing the driveway.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Boone, North Carolina, is a delightful mountain town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This town, which carries the name of the renowned pioneer Daniel Boone, offers a plethora of experiences for its visitors.
Nature lovers will find Boone an outdoor paradise. The surrounding mountains are laced with a variety of hiking trails that cater to all levels of hikers - from leisurely strolls to more strenuous climbs. Although not directly passing through Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway - often dubbed as "America's Favorite Drive" - is in close proximity and provides breathtaking scenic views. These views become particularly spectacular during autumn when the leaves transform into vibrant hues.
History and culture enthusiasts have plenty to explore in Boone as well. The Hickory Ridge Living History Museum offers an immersive experience into 18th-century life with its historical structures and live demonstrations. While not located directly in Boone, but rather in nearby Blowing Rock, The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts is worth a visit for its display of contemporary art from both local and international artists.
Adding to the vibrancy of this mountain town is Appalachian State University. Visitors can experience collegiate energy by attending a football game at Kidd Brewer Stadium or enjoying a performance at one of the university's theaters.
The culinary scene in Boone mirrors its Southern heritage with numerous comfort food options but also caters to global palates with international cuisine offerings. Craft beer aficionados will appreciate several local breweries.
