Scenically situated on the shores of Owasco Lake in Auburn, Moon Rise House gained its name from its incredible lakefront setting - especially during full moons. The panoramic view follows you from the living room to the kitchen down to the dock, even luring passersby to stop and admire the scene. The house is located on the lake’s western shore, right across the road from 48 feet of usable lake frontage. Owasco is a great lake for boating, tubing, fishing (for panfish, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout), even ice fishing when the conditions are right. There’s a dock (available seasonally from May to October, weather permitting) at the water’s edge, where you can take out the provided kayaks or park a V-hull or pontoon boat rented through Owasco Marine. Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
