The surrounding area offers a mix of historical, cultural, and natural attractions, providing visitors with various activities to enjoy. The historic city of Karlovac is a 40-minute drive from the property. Founded as a defensive fortress against Ottoman invasions the city is located at the confluence of four rivers: the Kupa, Korana, Mrežnica, and Dobra. Here guests can explore the old town, visit Dubovac Castle which looks over the city or simply relax in the picturesque Korana River Park. Other popular excursions include; a trip to Rastoke (a one-hour 12-minute drive) a charming village known for its watermills, and waterfalls, a visit to Žumberak-Samoborsko Gorje Nature Park to explore its diverse flora and fauna, hiking trails and picturesque landscapes. or a guided tour of the Barać Caves (a one-hour 25-minute drive away) which are known for their impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
