Make every day a spa day at this idyllic escape situated on the banks of the river Kupa with a small sandy beach, the perfect destination for those in need of some pampering.
Providing a serene oasis away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this secluded retreat is surrounded by lush greenery and is equipped with a heated pool, a hot tub, and a sauna. The house has been designed to enjoy alfresco living and is located on a large plot of green fields and trees. A spacious deck area provides the perfect place to bask in the sun with the gentle sound of the river flowing by, whilst the shaded veranda is ideal for dining by the fireplace. There is also a fire pit with its own seating area – the ideal spot for star gazing with a glass of wine.
Inside the spacious property is arranged over two floors with a selection of living spaces where guests can relax in style and comfort. The stylish, interior enjoys exposed stone walls, high wood-beamed ceilings and large windows that flood the comfortable rooms with natural light creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity. The main living area is furnished with a large fireplace, a comfortable L-shaped sofa, an armchair, a flatscreen TV and a dining table. This area also incorporates the kitchen which is fitted with; an induction hob, an oven, a microwave and a fridge freezer.
Guests will also be able to enjoy; two kayaks to explore the river, badminton equipment, swings for the children and wood for the BBQ. There is also the possibility of organising a fishing license via the owner.
Note: The tap water is not drinkable but there is a freshwater machine. The internal CCTV system will be shut off when guests are staying. The owner sometimes comes to mow the lawn.

The property is located on the south bank of the Kupa River, an 8-minute walk from the small village of Banska Selnica in Karlovac County in Croatia. The surrounding area offers a mix of historical, cultural, and natural attractions, providing visitors with various activities to enjoy.
The historic city of Karlovac is a 20-minute drive from the property. Founded as a defensive fortress against Ottoman invasions the city is located at the confluence of four rivers: the Kupa, Korana, Mrežnica, and Dobra. Here guests can explore the old town, visit Dubovac Castle which looks over the city or simply relax in the picturesque Korana River Park.
Other popular excursions include; a trip to Rastoke (a 55-minute drive) a charming village known for its watermills and waterfalls, a visit to Žumberak-Samoborsko Gorje Nature Park to explore its diverse flora and fauna, hiking trails and picturesque landscapes. or a guided tour of the Barać Caves (a one-hour 25-minute drive away) which are known for their impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
The closest airport to the accommodation is Zagreb Airport: Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) approximately an hour’s drive away.
