The perfect family escape just half a block from Montecito’s favorite beach.
This rental in Santa Barbara CA can be divided into two cottages or become one perfect family getaway. You will have two fully equipped kitchens, and the option of dining outdoors or at the two indoor dining areas. Both living rooms have a fireplace that will keep the cool evenings cozy indoors. The south side cottage is equipped with an electric fireplace and the north side cottage has a gas fireplace. A flat screen TV is located on each side and connected to a DVD player which gives you the option of putting the kids in one room to have a fun movie night and have a romantic evening just on the other side.
The cottage on the south side and north side offer a queen-size Bedroom. The north side also includes an additional Bedroom with a twin trundle bed.
Lounging and dining are easy outdoors in the quality hardwood teak furniture. The 200 year-old sycamore trees offer partial shade on the deck as you overlook Montecito creek. There is an herb garden which is flanked by Meyer lemon and Tangelo citrus trees and which provides rosemary, thyme, chives, and spearmint to be used in the gourmet kitchen.
Seashore Retreat is walking distance or a short 2 minute drive to Montecito’s Lower Village where you will find restaurants, bars, boutiques, and shops for groceries and other needs. Two of Montecito’s best beaches, Miramar and Hammond’s, are just a 1/2 block away and just steps to the Rosewood Miramar where you can wine and dine. Santa Barbara, with its many attractions and beaches, is an easy 10 minute drive.
