The Neighborhood
It is located in the El Eixample district of Barcelona (the modernistic area). El Eixample is an extension of the city, designed by Ildefons Cerdà and begun in 1860, and is one of the most unusual urban spaces in the world. The personality of Barcelona is rooted in large measure in the unique design of this district. El Eixample is a relatively small district which is built around the main road which runs through it, the Paseo de Gràcia. The charming Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) area is bordered by Aribau Street, the Paseo de Sant Joan, the Rondes and Diagonal Avenue. The consolidation of Quadrat d'Or as the center of the Barcelona bourgeoisie, which occurred during the last decade of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th, coincided with the spread of Modernism. A stroll through the area will reveal to attentive visitors a wealth of historic buildings, which were built when the bourgeoisie moved away from the old city to the center of El Eixample around 1900.

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
