Villa Amaya is located right at the entrance of one of the world’s heritage sites: Oia. It provides a romantic hideaway as it offers absolute privacy and serenity in Santorini, the most dramatic and breathtaking of all the Greek islands. Build on Oia’s most famous cliffs, it offers dazzling views towards the volcano and the whole of the island. The Amaya Windmill History is 180-200 years old. It was used to make bread and provide the island of Santorini. It was one of the few buildings to survive the earthquake in 1956. Villa Amaya is part of a residential complex, in the Perivolas area of Oia, with private entrance from the main street. The distance between the villas is only 60m which makes them the perfect retreat for parties of friends or family and for social events especially for weddings. It can be rented independently or together with Villa Cave-Amaya. Villa Amaya is suitable for 2 persons. The modern design with simple lines, and pale toned walls, blends perfectly with its 180 year traditional design. Amaya Windmill Villa is the only windmill in Santorini, which can be accessed without steps to its cliff side location overlooking the Caldera. From its spacious terrace, you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent views of the infinite blue of the Aegean and the Caldera. The Villa’s surface is 45 m². At the ground floor is the living room, the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and the bathroom. The outside area offers the outdoor heated Jacuzzi with the Caldera view. The bedroom, also with the Caldera view is on the Upper floor. Facilities include, Wi-Fi in all areas, smart TV with Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, CONNEX TV programs, safe box, luxurious bathroom amenities, Bosch Tassimo or Nespresso coffee machines, mobile phone for emergency calls and sun loungers. The guests’ services include, non-smoking rooms, 24hour concierge service, daily maid service, change of linen 3 times per week, daily towel change, breakfast and laundry service.
