Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Savannah Drawing Room is located in the landmark Historic District on a quiet street. Boasting over three floors, you’ll find a substantial amount of natural light throughout this charming home that fills the home with cheer. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home, where you can also gather for a family movie night or game day.
Toward the back of the house is an open plan kitchen with an attached formal dining area. Choose a formal meal at the dining table fit for eight, or enjoy a glass of wine at the kitchen island before walking to one of Savannah’s best restaurants. From this room, there is access to the deck with plush chairs and a courtyard with a fire pit -- the perfect spot for spending an evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones under the stars.
Before heading upstairs, you’ll find the first bedroom located on the main level, which is ideal for guests with mobility issues. This room features a Queen size bed, and is just across the hall form a quaint powder room. On the second level, two bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, and a generous amount of storage space. The primary bedroom overlooking the tree-lined courtyard features a King size bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Just down the hall, the second bedroom that overlooks Gaston Street is fitted with a Queen size bed, and is adjacent to the hallway bathroom that features a large shower/soaking tub combo.
The top floor, which can be reached by a spiral staircase, is fitted with two twin beds. This enchanting spot is sure to form lasting bonds between those sharing the space and is especially perfect for children!
Savannah Drawing Room is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s Historic District. Truly located in an excellent location that is just a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and Historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.
