For friends and families who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this charming wooden cottage, surrounded by incredible countryside, is the perfect destination.
The house sleeps up to 10 people in comfort, and has been thoughtfully decorated both inside and out. The ground floor has a cosy sitting area with a wood-burning stove, a sofa and chairs; a large dining area with three wooden tables, a sofa and a flat screen TV. The fitted kitchen, just off the dining area, has a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
The house has a beautiful loggia area overlooking the private (heated) outdoor swimming pool. The loggia acts as an outdoor living and dining room with a BBQ, large wood-burning oven and large dining tables for guests to dine al fresco.
The well-kept private garden, bordered by forest and vineyards, is full of flowers, with a lush lawn. Below the swimming pool there are sun loungers, where guests can relax, and a children’s playground complete with swings and a slide, absolutely perfect for children or pets to play.

Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom, which looks out over unspoiled countryside, is furnished with a traditional wooden double bed and a large wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom, with an attractive pitched wooden ceiling, is furnished with a carved wooden double bed and a large wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This bedroom sleeps 3 people with a wooden double bed and a carved single bed.
Bedroom 4: Another fresh, bright bedroom with a traditional double bed.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a single bed.

Set in a small village in quiet countryside, just a 40-minute drive from central Zagreb, this cottage can offer visitors the best of all worlds, at any time of year. Surrounded by nature, guests can explore the Turopoljski Lug nature reserve (20 minutes), famous for its birdlife.
The capital city, Zagreb, is well worth a visit. In addition to all the practical amenities, such as supermarkets and banks, it has many museums; a beautiful cathedral; a daily market (opens 6.30 am) selling the freshest local produce, ideal for self-catering and even a flea market (Sundays) in Britanski trg.
Karlovac, the “City of 4 Rivers”, is a 50-minute drive from the house. The rivers that run through the city are pristine, with many beaches for swimming, as well as activities such as fishing, kayaking and rafting. Karlovac is famous for its beer and hosts Croatia’s oldest annual beer festival every August.
Franjo Tudman International Airport in Zagreb, which is just a 22 minute drive away.
