Enjoy outdoor living and picturesque views of the South Fork River and surrounding mountains from the expansive riverfront deck. Soak in the riverside hot tub, gather around the fireplace, or read a book from the banks of the river. Entertain family and friends from the gourmet kitchen or enjoy a movie from the media room. The main floor consists of three bedrooms, all with king-size beds. The main bedroom has a smart TV and a five-piece ensuite bathroom. The other two king-sized bedrooms have smart TVs and share a spacious full bathroom off the hallway. Head up the handcrafted staircase to the second floor to find the bunkroom and the fourth full bathroom for additional space. Bed Configuration: Main Bedroom - King Bed (main floor with five-piece ensuite bath with air-jetted tub), smart TV, riverside deck access. 2nd Bedroom - King Bed (main floor)-Select a Comfort bed, a smart TV, and riverside deck access. 3rd Bedroom - King Bed (main floor) with a smart TV. Bunk Room - Two sets of Bunk Beds, Twin over Full (in the loft), and a smart TV. Media Room - Two Full-Size Futons (projector and screen) The gourmet kitchen has two ovens, a gas range, a large island, and a dining table perfect for entertaining friends and family. Head outside to the expansive riverside deck, where you will find a gas grill and Blackstone. The two (2) car garage offers ample space for parking vehicles, mountain bikes, ski gear, and more. You can head upstairs above the garage and find our media room. The media room is the perfect spot to recline and binge-watch your favorite show or movie after a long day of adventuring. We also have two (2) futons made into beds in the media room. Wolf Creek Ski Area is 18 miles from the house, and the Rio Grande Golf Club is less than five miles away. Access ATV trails directly from the house without having to trailer out. You can fish behind the house or find gold medal waters along the Rio Grande River. South Fork has been named the Basecamp for Adventure for a reason. There is something for everyone here that can be easily explored from Mountain Shadow Retreat. Additional Note: There are five (5) exterior cameras, one on each front corner, one down the side of the garage, and two on the back deck overlooking the hot tub and river and a ring doorbell. These are for liability and insurance purposes and are not monitored. Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year and the 4th of July holidays). Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required when booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
