Parking: One off-street spot is included with the unit. Additional vehicles can park on the street nearby. A car is recommended. Downtown Leadville is fully walkable from Papa’s Place, but the ski areas, Turquoise Lake, and trailheads all require a short drive. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is minimal and unreliable here — plan to drive or pre-book any transport. Smoke-free — no smoking in the unit, stairways, entryways, or anywhere on the building exterior. Parking: One off-street spot per unit. No RVs, boats, or trailers. Additional vehicles park on the street. No elevator: The building is historic — all access is via stairs. Please factor this in if traveling with an infant, small children, or mobility limitations. Baseboard heaters: Electric baseboard heaters run along the walls and get hot to the touch. Supervise young children accordingly. Winter temperatures: Historic building with original windows. It will feel cool on the coldest winter days. Space heaters, extra blankets, and the fireplace help — bring layers December through February. Altitude: Leadville sits above 10,000 ft.
