Villa Madrave is a pleasant countryside retreat in the north of Mallorca, perfectly located to combine peace, mountain scenery and easy trips to the coast. Close to the Serra de Tramuntana and just a short drive from Pollença and Puerto de Pollença, it’s a great base for relaxing days by the pool and exploring beaches, coves and traditional villages.
The house is designed to make the most of natural light throughout the day. From the living-dining area—comfortable for sharing meals or unwinding—you can enjoy garden views and a bright, open feel. Free Wi-Fi is available so staying connected is easy whenever needed.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything required to cook comfortably, whether it’s a simple breakfast or a long dinner at home. There is also a barbecue area set up for outdoor meals on the terrace or near the pool.
In terms of layout, the villa has three bedrooms in total: two bedrooms with two single beds each and one double bedroom. On the ground floor there is one of the twin bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower, a practical option for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs. On the upper floor are the remaining bedrooms (the second twin bedroom and the double bedroom), together with the second bathroom, also with a shower. All bedrooms offer enough space to store luggage comfortably.
All bedrooms have hot/cold air conditioning, available at any time, day or night.
Outside, the private area is one of the highlights: a well-kept garden, a private pool to cool off whenever you like, and spaces to enjoy long, unhurried days. Between swims, outdoor meals and a game of table tennis, it’s easy to spend a full day simply enjoying the villa.
To explore the area freely, a car is recommended. A supermarket is just a few minutes away, and Pollença offers a historic old town, cafés, restaurants and a traditional market. Puerto de Pollença is ideal for seaside strolls and beach days. For a change of scenery, Cala Sant Vicenç has small coves with clear water, beautiful views and a selection of restaurants and basic services—perfect for a relaxed outing.

About the area
Pollença, nestled in the northern corner of Mallorca, Spain, is a charming town that offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. This picturesque destination is a treasure trove for travelers seeking a serene escape with a touch of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
The town's historic center is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets that lead to the grand Plaça Major, the main square. Here, visitors can admire the imposing 13th-century church, Església de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels, and enjoy the bustling weekly market where local artisans and farmers showcase their products.
Pollença's Roman bridge, known as "Pont Romà," is a testament to the town's ancient past and is a popular spot for photographs. The Calvari steps, a set of 365 stone steps, offer a challenging climb rewarded with panoramic views of the town and the surrounding Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. At the top, the Oratory of Calvari is a peaceful sanctuary worth visiting.
For those interested in art and culture, the Museu de Pollença houses a collection of works by local and international artists, as well as artifacts that narrate the town's history. The town also hosts the prestigious Pollença Festival, which attracts music lovers with its classical concerts held in the atmospheric Santo Domingo cloister.
Nature enthusiasts will find Pollença an ideal base for exploring the Tramuntana range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hiking, cycling, and bird watching are popular activities in this region, with trails leading to stunning landscapes and hidden coves. The nearby Cap de Formentor offers dramatic cliffside views and the picturesque Formentor Beach, with its crystal-clear waters, is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Pollença's port, Port de Pollença, is a short drive away and is renowned for its beautiful beachfront promenade lined with cafes and restaurants. The port area also offers a range of water sports, including sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing.
The town's culinary scene reflects the rich agricultural heritage of the region, with local restaurants serving traditional Mallorcan dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. From tapas bars to upscale dining, there's something to satisfy every palate.
In summary, Pollença captivates visitors with its historic charm, cultural richness, and stunning natural surroundings. It's a place where one can immerse in the slow pace of island life, enjoy the arts, and embrace the great outdoors, all within the beautiful setting of Mallorca.
