Offering views of the harbor and footbridge from its two beautiful porches, this Boothbay Harbor escape lets you experience Midcoast Maine with ease and elegance. Whenever the mood strikes, you can stroll into the heart of town to dine, shop, or hop on board an unforgettable whale-watching excursion.
This luxe seaside apartment occupies the first floor of a two-story building, one that’s scenically situated across the road from the water’s edge. Walk half a mile west to reach downtown Boothbay Harbor; head half a mile south and you’ll find the renowned Boothbay Lobster Wharf. The Maine State Aquarium (three miles), the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (four miles), and charming little Wiscasset (13 miles) are just a few of the other nearby attractions.
Spend sparkling summer days outside on the porches, offering the perfect perch for watching the neighborhood pass you by. The small deck off the primary bedroom is the place for morning coffee; the expansive, covered veranda awaits at golden hour for wine and appetizers.
From its open design to its chic decor, the interior is a study in understated coastal style. At the heart of the living space is a breezy kitchen with upscale appliances and a large island. To one side is a bistro table where you can dine and play cards in the evenings with a view of the harbor. To the other is a living area with a smart TV to watch in the warmth of the gas fireplace.
The bedrooms are serene and comfortable, each paired with a TV and a full bathroom for privacy. Other little luxuries include central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, and a private washer/dryer (in addition to the building’s communal laundry room).
