Hemlock Hideaway is near the S.W. Washington coast with dual rentals. This farmhouse is the best of both worlds, quite yet close to the beach and all of the local attractions. On the Long Beach Peninsula from Chinook to Oysterville, you can explore all of the trailheads, museums, fishing ports, lighthouses, boutiques, and boardwalk. A short drive across the mighty Columbia river on the Astoria-Megler Bridge there’s tax free shopping. A few miles south on Highway 101, You can check out Seaside Oregon.
At Hemlock Hideaway, there’s a large covered deck with a gas grill, picnic table and patio furniture to keep you out of the rain and enhance your vacation. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, lunch snack or a glass of wine and enjoy this huge deck.
Our well equipped kitchen, where you can play chef, overlooks the sunken living room and dining room. The wilderness themed area is perfect for dining, watching TV, playing board games or cards, or just plain rest and relaxation!
Upstairs there is a bright colored spacious bedroom with a walk-through full bath, TV, closets, and ceiling fans. ( Air-conditioning is not provided due to the mild climate.)
While vacationing at Hemlock Hideaway, keep your eyes open for bald eagles, hawks, and owls that sit in the trees or fly overhead. Deer, raccoons and bears pass through the property so we asked that you not leave any food or drinks outside.
The perfect place for a weekend getaway, birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon celebration, when you stay here you won’t want to leave.
