Closer to home, delight in sunny days on the lake, using the provided kayaks or paddle boards, or lounge on the private, spacious dock. Guests have the option of stone steps or a paved walking path providing easy access down to the lake, boathouse, and dock when you’re ready to kick back and soak up some sun. Nearby, ATV and snowmobile trails await winter adventurers. Inside, the fun doesn’t stop! Choose from a plethora of board games in the cozy lower den, completely outfitted with foosball, air hockey, and a combo table tennis/pool table. A large bar stocked with diverse glassware and requisite tools for whipping up drinks overlooks a cozy seating area where movies or live sports can be played on a widescreen TV. On the main floor, you’ll feel right at home snuggled up by the fire in the living room, featuring comfy seating by a second widescreen TV, high wooden ceilings, charming cabin decor, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a large balcony that offers plenty of natural light and stunning lake views. A full kitchen with an oversized island hosts modern appliances and everything one could possibly need for effortless meal preparation, adjacent to the dining area with a large table. In the mornings, those who require a hot cup of Joe will enjoy the full coffee bar with the choice of a kettle, drip coffee maker, or Keurig. Following a great day out on the water, retreat to comfy bedrooms adorned with plush linens and thoughtful finishes. The spacious primary bedroom, which includes a sleeper chair, opens up to the balcony and has an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi and zen shower providing spa-like relaxation. Guests will also love the upstairs bedroom with an adjacent loft overlooking the main living area. This quiet nook hosts a desk for a workplace retreat and opposite, a luxe corner where couples can convene over cocktails after a long day. Kids can sleep in the bear-y nice bunk room downstairs, with plenty of floor space for game playing and a full bathroom next door. As the sun begins to set, adults can gather on the deck with a glass of wine, take in the incredible lake view, and prepare for another magical day while the kiddos play games downstairs. There is truly something for everyone at the Otter’s Retreat. Things to Know There are 2 double kayaks, 4 single kayaks, and 2 paddleboards provided for guest use. This property is managed by Property Manager Wisconsin LLC. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
