The property’s private dock is your gateway to the unique natural world of Puget Sound. As you relax, keep an eye out for a truly special experience: local wildlife is a frequent and treasured sight. You may spot bald eagles soaring overhead, great blue herons fishing along the shoreline, or even a playful harbor seal swimming in the bay. The interior of the home is just as stunning as the outside with its luxury furnishings, high ceilings, and open layout. Adjacent to here, the expansive living room boasts a gas fireplace, leather seating, and a Smart TV.
Equally inviting, the home’s five bedrooms are lined with warm wood finishes, central air-conditioning, and plush linens. Beyond your private retreat, Fox Island and the surrounding areas offer a wide array of activities to enjoy year-round. You can explore the scenic trails at the Fox Island Nature Center, go fishing from the Fox Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the beach at the Tacoma DeMolay Sandspit Nature Preserve. For community events, check the local calendar for annual happenings like the Fox Island Fair in August or the festive Christmas Tree Lighting in December. Just a short drive away, the charming town of Gig Harbor provides a variety of shops and restaurants to explore, as well as the scenic Cushman Trail for walking and biking.
Within 20 miles of your stay, take time to visit Titlow Park, Chambers Bay Golf Course, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Pantages Theater, and multiple restaurants and shops.
Refrigeration & Freezer Options
We want to make sure you have everything you need to store your food and drinks comfortably during your stay. In the pantry, you’ll find a standard-size stainless steel refrigerator available for all your fresh food needs. There’s also a stand-alone freezer next to the gas grill—perfect for keeping frozen items—and two mini-fridges designated for beverages.
Please note: The large Sub-Zero refrigerator is currently not operational. You’re welcome to use it for room-temperature storage (such as dry goods), but it won’t keep items cold. We appreciate your understanding and kindly ask that you do not attempt to use it for refrigeration.
Dishwashers
For your convenience, there are two dishwashers in the kitchen. The dishwasher on the left is fully functional and available for your use. The one on the right is currently out of service and will not be replaced at this time. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!
