The Fish Bowl
Aptly named for its walls of glass looking out over the ocean, The Fish Bowl treats you to stunning views of Brookings’ dramatic coastline. In this beautiful spot in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, you can wander down to Whaleshead Beach each morning and spend your evenings marveling at gorgeous sunsets and brilliant night skies from the warmth of the private hot tub.
This single-story home enjoys an oceanfront position just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It’s located in what is perhaps the most picturesque stretch of the entire Oregon Coast - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, take photographs, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.
Greet each morning outside on the deck, with a cup of coffee in hand and breakfast set out at the outdoor table. It’s a stunning spot to return to at sunset, with dinner searing away on the gas grill.
Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the same incredible scene inside, so you can watch for whale spouts on the horizon as you cook, dine, and gather around the table for board games. In the evenings, leave the day’s swimsuits and clothing to spin in the washer/dryer, stream your favorite movies on the smart TV, and plan the next day’s adventures using complimentary WiFi.
