The best of all worlds come together at this Lovers Point retreat located just steps away from the beach and the Monterey Peninsula Recreation Trail, and just a short walk away from Pacific Grove’s downtown attractions.
The sound of whispering waves will lull guests to sleep at this renovated home, originally built in the 1980s in a classic style that fits into Pacific Grove’s Victorian neighborhoods. The two-story home offers modern conveniences along with a rustic coastal vibe, and welcomes well-mannered dogs under 25 pounds, with a fully fenced back yard that provides privacy and peace of mind.
Besides being just steps from the beach, the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom,1,916-square-foot residence is also only a few minutes away from Monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Downtown Monterey, Carmel and golfing in Pebble Beach® are a 10-minute drive away, and other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.
Living Spaces
Guests enter the front entryway with leaded glass front door into the cozy living room, which has comfortable upholstered furniture around the gas fireplace and a wifi-enabled 65-inch HDTV with Roku. A half-bath is located on this level.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen offers premium appliances including a Viking four-burner gas range, a Miele dishwasher and SubZero refrigerator, as well as a large sink with pullout faucet, accented by black countertops and a black and white tile backsplash.
The large kitchen features counter seating adjacent to the dining room with rustic wooden table that can seat up to 8 people.
Outside
A back door from the dining area leads to the fully-fenced back yard with brick patio. Succulents and flowering plants offer grace notes along a path through a white pergola. The back yard is a natural gathering place with a gourmet gas grill and fire pit table with seating for 6, the perfect setting for nighttime stargazing while listening to the cry of seagulls in the distance.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs, the three bedrooms all have plush carpet, 50-inch HDTVs equipped with Roku for streaming services, and are decorated in soothing tones of gray, blue and white.
Bedroom #1 includes a California king bed, seating area, full-length mirror, gas fireplace and a peek of the ocean. A small desk provides work space when needed. Custom tile, a large walk-in shower with a high shower head, dual sinks and a large mirror are all part of the en suite bath.
Bedroom #2 has a California King bed, seating area, full-length mirror and a small writing desk with a view of the ocean.
Bedroom #3 has a California King bed, seating area and mirror.
Upstairs there is a large hall bath with dual sinks, custom tile and a tub-shower combination.
Downstairs there is a half-bath near the living areas.
The garage features an EV car charger and a stacked washer and dryer. The garage can accommodate one large vehicle and one small car, and parking for two in the driveway.
Well-behaved small dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
