Villa Isa is a modern (built in the ’70s), appointed two-level house set directly on Lake Maggiore shore. The location is amazing: from the windows, you look straight out over the water towards the mountains. Located on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, the villa is conveniently located to explore the two sides of the Lake. This modern home has every possible modern facility: pool, private beach, boat access, floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, terrace, and pool overhanging the lake. The villa sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore is fringed with the little towns of Sesto Calende, Angera, Santa Caterina del Sasso, Laveno, Luino, and Maccagno, each with attractive natural or architectural features typical of lakeside communities. Outstanding among the historical treasures of the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore are the Rocca di Angera, a superbly conserved medieval castle in a dominating position, the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, a fine monastery complex dating from the 14th century, perched on a cliff above the lake, and the Borromeo Islands.
