Apartments Berna rents an apartment renovated in 2022, inside the historical D’Alesc house dating back to 1662, only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Ortisei. In winter the location is ideal, as the ski bus (in addition to the common bus lines) stops 50 metres from the house and takes you free of charge (using the free tickets provided at check-in) to the Dolomiti Superski lifts, such as the Seceda cable car. Buses run with a variable frequency of one every 10-20 minutes. In summer, however, the proximity of the bus stop and of the town center, where you find the Luis Trenker promenade and the ski lifts, is particularly advantageous. The house is also particularly suitable for families with children, as there is a small public children playground with a small football field right below the house. You will find various grocery shops, restaurants, laundry and other services less than 100 metres from the house. To avoid misunderstandings, we ask you to inform us by separate mail if you intend to bring them with you. In houses where pets are allowed, there is a surcharge of € 15.00 / animal / night. Baby cot, high chair and cot rail are available for a fee and must be booked in advance. If allowed, it is available only after reconfirmation by Property Manager and at a variable extra cost. In case of wasted electricity, gas or other utilities there is an additional cost (e.g.: lights on all day in the absence of guests, heating running with open windows). It is duty of the guests to open the windows at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, for at least 5 minutes each, to let humidity exit the apartment and avoid mold formation. If this rule is not respected and mold is found upon departure of the guests, costs to restore the apartment integrity will apply. Due to the geographical location, Wi-Fi may be interrupted or slowed down, so this service is not always guaranteed. The house is not equipped with foodstuffs such as cooking spices or various consumables such as shampoo, soap, etc... Any consumables present are intended only as a welcome kit and will not be refilled during your stay. The payments required to enter the flat are the tourist tax + pre-authorization through SWIKLY of the security deposit by credit card of 500€. If not previously agreed, the physical keys, the benefit card and other accessories provided at check-in are to be returned to the Property Manager office in Via Arnaria 9A in Ortisei, otherwise 50€ will be charged for key collection. The final cleaning amount covers a standard cleaning only. It does not include the washing of the dishes and the removal of trash from the apartments to the indicated spots. Therefore, excessively dirty apartments, dishes not washed, and trash not removed will be amended with a variable extra fee, basing on the entity of the working hours surplus.
