This cozy 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, 1 dedicated office home is located in The Mexican War Streets of Pittsburgh’s Northside. It is fully furnished with new stainless steel appliances, washer, dryer, central AC, a Ring security system and a smart TV. The first floor is filled with light and has has an open floor plan that captures great flow from room to room. French doors at the back of the kitchen look out into a spacious private yard and convenient off street parking.
The house is in a historic neighborhood called the Mexican War Streets in Pittsburgh’s Northside. Made up mostly of 19th century brick row houses mixed in with some newly built & renovated homes. Commonplace Cafe is a coffee shop on the same street as the home within 5 min. walking distance. Adda Cafe is located on Western Ave. ( a 5 min drive/ 15 minute walk) Nicky’s Thai, Lola’s Bistro and Bier’s Pub are some recommended restaurants there. It’s a 15 min walk to the downtown area (PNC Park, Heinz Field) Federal Galley is a nearby Food Hall that was built and gained popularity over the last couple years. Additionally, The Children’s Museum, The National Aviary & The Andy Warhol Musueum are all within a 15 minute walking distance. Giant Eagle grocery store is about a 10 minute drive. Mayfly Market is a tiny little grocery store / deli if you need to pick up any essentials last minute or want to splurge on some locally made sorbet. Overall, while the Northside has definitely been gentrified it still has an urban city, eclectic, hip feel which is why people live there.
