Kittiwake House is just a short walk from both Monkseaton and Whitley Bay Tyne & Wear metro stations, providing quick and easy access to Tynemouth, Newcastle and further afield. A number of bus routes can be found running through Whitley Bay. Hop on the 1 service to visit the Metrocentre, Tynemouth and North Shields, take a trip on the 54 to take in the sights of Newcastle, or board the 308 to travel to Blyth. The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 18 miles from Whitley Bay. The Tyne & Wear Metro also runs services to the airport.
