No permit is required. Please note that there are two flights of stairs up from the apartment entrance door into the apartment itself. If a travel cot is required for your stay at Yellow Ochre this must be requested prior to check in. The closest train station to Alnwick can be found in Alnmouth, which is roughly a 10-minute drive from the property so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail. The station has direct routes to Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Leeds, London and Bristol. There are a number of bus stops throughout Alnwick and the main bus station is just a short from walk away from Yellow Ochre. Hop on the X20 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas of Northumberland like Alnmouth and Amble. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahouses. The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport, 35 miles away from Alnwick.
