As the name suggests, you won’t soon forget your vacation time spent at "Forget Me Not" cabin! Unwind with the endless mountain views and watch beautiful sunsets at dusk and star gazing at night around the outdoor fire table on the deck. This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin makes you feel like you’re stepping back in time, but with the convenience of modern amenities. Be our guest at Forget Me Not. We promise it will be a vacation that you will never forget!
Nestled in the Pisgah National Forest, this cozy cabin is in the perfect location with a short drive from world-famous Christmas tree farms, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Falls and Caverns, Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain ski resorts, Emerald Village Gem Mining, and Lake James State Park. Hike any one of the nearby hiking trails during the day or enjoy a round of disc golf at the North Cove Disc Golf Course just 5 minutes from the cabin. Linville Falls Winery is a 15-minute drive from the cabin and is the perfect spot for an evening pour. Less than 30 minutes away, explore local shops, restaurants, and breweries in downtown Marion. If you’re looking to enjoy some nightlife, check out Marion’s Mica Town Brewing Company, and Spillway Bridge & Co. The Biltmore Estate, downtown Asheville, and Black Mountain are also within an hour’s drive.
House Layout:
Main Level- From the front porch you are welcomed into the open kitchen, dining room, and living room area; the living room has a beautiful rock fireplace with gas logs and a TV for streaming options only (no cable or satellite); dining table seats 6 with extra seating around the kitchen island; bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and a full bath.
Upstairs- Bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and a full bath (shower only, no tub); loft with queen bed.
Outdoors- Covered front porch, which wraps around to the back of the house; covered back porch with a picnic table; deck with fire table; charcoal grill (charcoal not provided).
Please note: There is an unfinished basement, where the washer and dryer can be used.
