Skytop Chalet sits on 7 acres and is located in the beautiful gated community of Catawba Falls Preserve. Wildlife is abundant, and sightings can be frequent and very exciting. This home offers 360-degree views in all seasons. Skytop is a 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath, custom-built Deltec Round home, which includes 3 spacious levels, a game room with a wet bar, an 8-person hot tub, a fire table, and so much more.
Skytop Chalet is perfect for multi-generational family gatherings, as there are spacious common areas on all three floors, along with decks on all three floors to take in the stunning views! The community roads are paved and easily navigated, and you are only 15-20 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and about 35 minutes from downtown Asheville!
House Layout:
Main Level- Open great room with a wood burning fireplace; dining area with a 10 ft dining table that seats 10; a chef’s kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, standard, and Keurig coffee makers, and a kitchen island with seating for 6; living area with TV (streaming only); master bedroom with a king bed and full bath with soaking tub and walk-in shower; half bath; laundry room with washer and dryer.
Upper Level- Den with TV, library/reading area, and game table; two bedrooms with a set of bunk beds with a trundle underneath and a Jack and Jill bathroom (shower/tub combo) between the bedrooms; bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom (shower/tub combo).
Lower Level- Den with a shuffleboard table, a pool table that converts into ping pong, a TV, and a queen sleeper sofa; kitchenette with a wet bar, wine cooler, microwave, and second refrigerator; bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom (shower/tub combo).
Outdoors- three exterior decks- one on each level; gas grill on the main level deck; hot tub and fire table on the lower level deck.
Please note: Skytop Chalet is pet-friendly with an additional $100 pet fee. Two-week-long reservations require a mid-stay cleaning service, while month-long reservations require a weekly cleaning service. Additional fees apply for both instances.
No parking is allowed on roadways, at gate entrances, or in non-paved areas in the Catawba Falls Community. Please keep your vehicle(s) on the driveway only. There is ample parking beside the home or in the carport with a ramp leading into the main level of the home for guests who need easy accessibility.
Greybeard homes are located near Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles are prevalent in our area in the fall and winter months, and they will find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
