Welcome to “Hygge’’ a modern 3BR townhome located in the heart of Traverse City. With an open kitchen and 1400 sq. ft. of living space, and one car garage, it is perfect for families and larger groups looking to stay close to all the attractions of TC, including Mission Peninsula wineries, craft breweries, local restaurants, shopping, and more.
We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $125 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and ’retired’ towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- We aspire to help our guests create wonderful memories in our cozy home. That is why we spelled out these house rules for an optimal experience for both of us. We truly appreciate your effort and cooperation!
- *Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.
- Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
- Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.
- Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
- Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
- Visitors & Noise:
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 6 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
- Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Pet fees is $125 up to 2 pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.
- Housekeeping: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.
- We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.
- Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.
- ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.
- Pets:
- We have the following rules for our guests with pets or Assistance Animals. This ensures that both your stay, and that of our guests after you, will be enjoyable and relaxing. Our pet fee is $125 for up to two dogs. Maximum occupancy is set at 2 dogs under 50 pounds each. If you have any questions, please ask us! The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or pets or a service animal.
- •Your animal should not be left unattended at any time. Should that become necessary, you must have and use a crate for your animal at all times while you are gone and provide them with sufficient food and water. Please use the labeled pet towels/sofa/bed covers/sheets for your pets cleaning needs and separate them from the towels/sheets provided for guest use.
- •You are responsible at all times for your animal's behavior. While we reasonably expect that your pets or specialty animal are well-trained, should any damage occur, you are responsible for the cost of any cleaning, repairs, or replacements.
- •Your animal should have a collar, harness, or microchip with identifying owner information attached should it become lost.
- •Your animal must be under the control of verbal or sight commands that they follow at all times.
- •Your animal must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated, unprovoked barking.
- •We can ask you to remove your animal and/or leave for excessive barking, aggressive or damaging behavior, or obvious lack of sanitation.
- •Please walk your animal for bathroom needs. Indoor piddle pads are not allowed.
- •Please clean up deification immediately.
- •Please keep your animal off the furniture and counters unless it is specifically needed for your disability.
