What’s nearby: The Aska Adventure Area is a hiking-mountain biking trail system 17 miles in length developed on National Forest lands near Deep Gap on the Aska Road just minutes from the cabin. Trails range in length from one mile to five and a half miles and are open to the public year-round. Trails ascend to near 3,200 feet, providing vistas of mountain ridges and descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge. They also pass through coves of mature hardwoods and thickets of laurel and rhododendron. Aska Farms is also one and a half miles from this home. Falls Branch Falls, The Lilly Pad Village, and Toccoa Wilderness Tubing are all off Aska Road. The Aska Adventure Area is the home of the Toccoa River, a favorite summer activity with hundreds of tubers enjoying this beautiful natural wonder.
