The Neighborhood

This house is in a quiet street in a Brighton conservation area, with striking Regency architecture and sea views from many streets. Moments from the sea, you can also stroll to many of Brighton's best cafes, shops and restaurants. Also near to a Waitrose supermarket. Everything Brighton has to offer is easily accessible on foot: Seven Dials, Brighton Pier, the i360, Hove Lawns, Churchill Square for shopping, Brighton Museum, the Theatre Royal, Brighton Dome and the best restaurants in town! Here are just a few of our favourites for you to explore: Local Coffee shops and cafes Nowhere Man – 53 Upper Street serves great coffee, pancakes, music and bagels Between two thorns – 67 Upper Street combines plants, coffee, cake and learning. Coffee club – 35 Clifton Hill, relaxed café for coffee and light meals Stoney Point – 15 Montpelier Place serving Monmouth coffee with homemade cakes, jams and chutneys Billie’s café – 34 Hampton Place is a homely venue, with its’ window wrapping the corner of the street, and is famous for its hash browns and pancakes that serves as an all day breakfast Bakery Real Patisserie an authentic French pattiserie and bakery is on 25 Western Road and 43 Trafalgar Street The Flour Pot Bakery and Kitchen is on the seafront in the newly developed Kingsway Arches next to the i360. Butchers Rog Man Butchers – 72 Farm Road Fishmonger There are a variety of small fishmonger pods that open along both Brighton and Hove beach selling fresh fish caught that day and FISH at Brighton and Newhaven Fish Sales is a wholesale and retail fish outlet based at Shoreham harbour (next to Hove Lagoon) is 2 ½ miles away selling high quality fish and shellfish direct from their boats Wine and Beer Seven Cellars at Seven Dials has a great selection of wine and craft beers. Pubs on your doorstep Three great pubs all with outside space are on your doorstep. The Crescent – 6 Clifton Hill. Low-lit pub with log fires, wood floors and a spacious garden, serving Modern British dishes The Hampton – 57 Upper North Street. Offers a warm and friendly welcome, craft beers and Indian street food. The Windmill – 69 Upper North Street. Cosy sofas for some, a proper boozer for others, and good food from a varied menu. Restaurants close by Tookta’s Thai - A small and unpretentious thai café in a small Regency cottage serves curries and stir fries around the corner in Spring Street. It is really friendly and they will happily cater for milder or spicier versions of whatever they are selling. A hidden gem. Bincho Yakitori - Bookings are advised at this very popular Japanese restaurant inspired by the back street Isakaya and drinking dens of downtown Tokyo. The atmosphere is bustling and vibrant and food centred around Yakitori grills. Cin Cin - Cin Cin is an award winning Italian restaurant. There is one nearby on Western Road between Brunswick square and Palmeira Square. Seasonal small plates and aperitifs, handmade pastas are cooked for you while you sit by a unique and intimate counter around an open bar and kitchen.
