This unique log home sits perched above the beautiful Ivylog Creek and is located nine miles from Blairsville and 13.5 miles from Young Harris. Don’t hesitate to stop by Blairsville to stock up on groceries, enjoy its many dining options, visit parks, and take advantage of all the convenience stores and supermarkets! Other great attractions you can find within 20 miles include Butternut Creek Golf Course, Grandaddy Mimm’s Distilling Co., Cupid Falls, Anderson Music Hall, Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens, and Vogel State Park.
The beautiful backyard equipped with a firepit, a picnic table for alfresco dining, and access to the creek allows you to truly bask in the glory of nature. This home’s outdoor spaces are not your regular patios or decks. The first-floor deck boasts a bubbly hot tub overlooking the creek where you can treat yourself to a soothing bath after an exciting evening exploring the area. Upon entering this gorgeous home, you will reach the second and main level of this retreat. Delight in the spacious open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one and has high vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wood beams, rustic decor, and incredibly comfortable furniture throughout. The floor-to-ceiling true masonry wood fireplace is in charge of keeping you all nice and toasty during your stay in the winter months. Snuggle up by the fire on any of the inviting sofas and watch an entertaining show or movie on the large TV or host a thrilling board game evening with your friends. When mealtime comes, surprise your guests with culinary masterpieces prepared in the well-appointed open kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the small coffee corner by the kitchen. This level also hosts the primary bedroom, which has a TV and an en suite bathroom.
Kids and kids at heart will love the basement game room with a foosball table, a Connect Four game, a rec area with a large TV, and a dart board inside the bunk bedroom. The upper level offers two additional bedrooms and a cozy lofted area with inviting sofas and a bookshelf overlooking the main living area.
