Peaceful and secluded, this home lies less than three miles from the banks of Canyon Lake, the ’Water Recreation Capital of Texas’, where you’ll find incredible boating, fishing, and golfing. Take a relaxing tube float down the famous Horseshoe section of the Guadalupe River, view the nearby Canyon Lake Dam, treat yourself to a scenic drive along the Guadalupe River on River Road, or enjoy a scenic hike on the Guadalupe River Trail. The nearby Whitewater Amphitheater offers the very best in live music, and Fredericksburg, San Antonio, Wimberley, New Braunfels, and San Marcos are all within an hour’s drive. After an exciting day on the water, head back to your retreat for the evening. Sip a cold beverage outside on the patio and unwind, use the free WiFi to update your social media, or catch up on your reading in the den. When dinnertime rolls around, fix your favorite homemade meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or grill up some burgers on the gas grill outside and host a summer barbecue in true Texas fashion. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Due to recent increases in water levels some boat ramps have been opened on Canyon Lake. Boat ramps #1 and #2 are open for free, public use. Boat ramps #14, #17, #18 and #19 are also open but do charge a fee for entry. For the most up to date water levels and ramp openings please visit the mycanyonlake website. Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
