Among the rolling hills of the Marche region, surrounded by the famous fruit trees of the Aso valley, in an expanse of land that has always distinguished a region of great charm, Villa La Duccia boasts an enviable position between the Adriatic Sea, which is from here just 5 kilometers away, and the Sibillini mountains, the blue mountains of Leopardi’s memory on which stands the Monte Vettore, a mountain linked to the legends and events of the sorceress Sibilla.
After a very careful restoration completed in June 2021, which made it possible to get back the architectural style that distinguishes the typical farmhouse of the Fermana sharecropper, this welcoming home is presented now in a new guise, also thanks to the use of innovative materials that make its style minimal and elegant, both internally and externally.
Villa La Duccia can host up to 14 people in its 8 rooms, all equipped with bathrooms and tastefully furnished and designed to offer maximum hospitality. Two rooms have a mezzanine-which makes the welcome perfect also for couples with children- and one room has an indoor hydromassage bathtub.
In the interior spaces, you can experience beautiful convivial moments by meeting in the Tv room, where a large fireplace and a very comfortable leather corner sofa are waiting for you, or around the large and modern kitchen peninsula. For lunches and dinners with family or friends, you can instead sit around the majestic square table.
The bedrooms in the sleeping area, characterized by the attention to detail in the furnishings, are clean, very spacious, and bright thanks to the choice of using soft colors for the walls. There was also careful research into the choice of linen and curtains. The strength of the structure is the outdoor space: two large pergolas protect a relaxation area and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a wood-burning oven, wood-burning barbecue, Weber, induction hob, dishwasher, sink, and cellar-from the sun. There are also two large tables where groups o up to thirty people can sit.
Extremely close to the Villa, set between the stone paving, the lawn, and the olive trees, there is the breathtaking infinity pool with salt water that dominates the valley below, where you can get lost with your gaze.
A solar shower and an external bathroom are also available in the pool area. In the garden and patio, however, there are deckchairs, parasols, armchairs, and low tables where you can spend carefree hours in the open air, sipping a good glass of local wine. Guests say that here you can breathe a relaxing but at the same time convivial air.
Villa La Duccia is the ideal place for a group of friends or large families. You will spend an unforgettable holiday.

About the area
Marcelli, a charming coastal town in the Marche region of Italy, is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of more crowded tourist destinations. With its picturesque beaches along the Adriatic Sea, Marcelli is a haven for those seeking sun, sea, and sand. The town's long stretches of sandy shores are perfect for sunbathing, while the clear blue waters invite swimming, sailing, and windsurfing.
The town's promenade is lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, where visitors can indulge in delicious local cuisine, including fresh seafood and the region's famous white wines, such as Verdicchio. The evening passeggiata (leisurely walk) along this promenade is a beloved ritual that offers a glimpse into the relaxed Italian lifestyle.
Marcelli is also an excellent base for exploring the natural beauty and historical sites of the Marche region. The nearby Conero Regional Park is a natural paradise, offering hiking trails through lush forests and to dramatic cliff-top views over the sea. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna, as well as secluded beaches that can be reached by foot or by boat.
For those interested in history and culture, the medieval hilltop town of Loreto is just a short drive away. Loreto is famous for its Basilica della Santa Casa, a shrine that is said to contain the house in which the Virgin Mary lived. The basilica's stunning architecture and art are a draw for pilgrims and art enthusiasts alike.
Another nearby attraction is the city of Ancona, the capital of the Marche region. Ancona's rich history is evident in its ancient Roman ruins, such as the Arch of Trajan, and its Renaissance cathedrals. The city's port also offers the opportunity for day trips to other Adriatic destinations.
Marcelli's blend of beautiful beaches, cultural experiences, and proximity to natural and historical sites makes it an ideal destination for travelers looking for a more authentic and tranquil Italian vacation. Whether you're lounging on the beach, savoring the local gastronomy, or exploring the surrounding region, Marcelli provides a delightful Italian experience that caters to a variety of tastes and interests.
