In a postcard landscape, on the top of a ridge from which you can discover the San Gimignano countryside, in the heart of the most authentic Tuscany.
Villa delle Torri is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves owned by the farm which includes this delightful dwelling that can offer hospitality to 16 people in 8 elegant rooms, is possible to add 4 beds.
Majestic on the outside, the structure inside has influences of different styles made of fantasy, originality and creativity.
The original building, an ancient watchtower, dates back to the year 1000. Then later, the other parts were added that have delivered to our time a wonderful example of spontaneous architecture of the Tuscan countryside.
In a refined and persuasive environment, where you can savor the “sound of silence”, Villa delle Torri also offers the opportunity to participate in peasant life in the periods in which oil and wine are produced, which are at home here.
The large internal halls are equipped with satellite Tv, hi-fi system and a small library.
The large and fully equipped kitchen, equipped with semi-professional tools, allows you to prepare from a simple snack to a multi-course dinner while in the beautiful dining room you can relax comfortably seated in an atmosphere of great conviviality.
Outside, the swimming pool with large equipped solarium and panoramic postcard views of the towers of San Gimignano which are a few hundred meters away together with the characteristic village that tells of local history and traditions.
You can spend a large part of your newspaper in the open air, perhaps walking in the beautiful green garden, or lying down by the swimming pool, as a few steps away you will find, in the old equipped barn, a kitchen with tables and dishes and a service bathroom.
The warm welcome of the house is completed by the terracotta floors and the exposed beams on the ground floor as well as the large bedrooms, all with air conditioning and private bathroom and some with an internal bath and a view of the panorama or with a four-poster bed.
Villa delle Torri is located right on the ancient “Via Francigena” which allows guests to take long walks on paths that in the past have seen thousands of pilgrims and that have made the history of the area.
A couple of kilometers from here you can visit the historic center of San Gimignano with the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Campatelli tower and house, Piazza del Duomo or the ancient city museum. Florence Peretola airport is about forty kilometers away.
The central position of Villa delle Torri will allow you to easily reach the major destinations in Tuscany through scenic and low-traffic roads. Siena, the gateway to the Val d’Orcia, is not far away but we also recommend an excursion to the smaller villages of Monteriggioni, Castellina, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti.
