This boutique country accommodation is constructed with the original rough sawn hardwood timbers and Cypress posts from a sheep shearing shed in outback Australia, giving the cottage a unique and stunning look. Eekos comfortably sleeps 5 people across 3 bedrooms and is in the heart of Kangaroo Valley village.

Where will I be?
Eekos Cottage is in the heart of Kangaroo Valley. The cottage is located on the main street of the village with shops, eateries and a pub. For those that like adventure, it is a 15 minute walk to the beautiful Hampden bridge and the nearby businesses that hire out kayaks.

Centrally located and full of character, Eekos Cottage is perfect for a Kangaroo Valley getaway. It is a short walk to all the local eateries and many Southern Highlands wedding venues are within a 30 minute drive. The amazing covered outdoor area is the perfect spot for a BBQ, for all day entertaining, or for those all enjoyable evening drinks.
How is the property laid out?
Eekos Cottage has 3 bedrooms; 2 with a queen bed and 1 with a single bed. The modern bathroom has a combined bath/shower and a toilet.
The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas cooktop and coffee machine. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and the living area has a comfy sofa and armchair by the fire, perfect for those chilly nights.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither Property Manager nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The deck that wraps around half of Eekos Cottage is the perfect place to sit with a morning coffee or afternoon drink. There is a large undercover outdoor dining area, with a 6 seater dining table and BBQ. The terraced back area is planted beautifully and has bistro seating area and interesting things dotted throughout.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
There is reverse cycle air-conditioners in the living area, which cools down the whole house very quickly. The wood fire in the living room is perfect for those cold winter nights - no firewood is supplied.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Eekos Cottage supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Two cars can fit at the top entrance to the property. A third car can park at the bottom of the drive, however you need to make sure the access for Kangaroo Valley Adventure Company is not blocked.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
