Welcome to Summit Blue Mountain House!
Summit Blue Mountain House sits at the top of Beech Mountain, less than two miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. This getaway home enjoys winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing, then hiking, mountain biking, chairlift rides, and disc golf during the warmer months. Have a drink at the 5506’ Skybar and enjoy other convenient Beech Mountain restaurants and coffee shops. Hike, bike, or ski the Emerald Outback. Enjoy Buckeye Recreation Center, a short three-mile drive that offers basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts, a playground, and Buckeye Lake for fishing and paddle boating. The town of Banner Elk is six (6) miles away, with attractions like Lees-McRae College, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, the Banner Elk Winery, and more.

The comfortable living area has a wood-burning fireplace, TV, a kitchen, and a dining area with big windows and skylights letting in bright natural light. Make your favorite coffee or tea at the stocked coffee bar, then enjoy it on the deck with a gas fire table overlooking the mountains. The garage game room, accessed by a separate entrance, has fun and entertainment for all ages, including a poker table, a reversible chess and backgammon table, a dart board, and a 60-game stand-up arcade machine. There is ample seating, a large TV with programming and streaming options, and a microwave and mini fridge for game room snacks.

The master bedroom has a king bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The queen bedroom has a TV and in-room access to the jack-and-jill style hallway bathroom. Kids will love the spiral staircase up to the loft with bunk beds and TV. The main living room sofa also converts to a queen sleeper.
Additional amenities at Summit Blue Mountain house include a washer and dryer, paid TV programming, streaming, a DVD player, and wifi. Two dogs are welcome with your reservation, and additional pet fees will apply. There is a level gravel driveway with room for two cars with a level walkway to the front entrance.

Guests with a reservation at Summit Blue Mountain House are eligible to apply for a membership transfer to the Beech Mountain Club (BMC) for the dates of the reservation.
BMC policies apply to a membership transfer. Please read the policy document carefully.
Upon booking, guests will receive an email with instructions, the BMC transfer policies, and the transfer application. The application must be submitted to the club by the guest at least 3 days prior to the transfer start date, which can be no sooner than your arrival date.
Please note BMC Policy 4a. : owners membership is limited to two transfers per month based on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible. CCR is unable to inform inquiring guests if two transfers are already accepted in a calendar month. Guests will need to contact BMC for information.
A membership transfer fee starting at $300 is charged to the guest by BMC upon the start date of the membership transfer.
Memberships start at the social level. Guests may upgrade membership with additional fees paid to BMC (see the BMC website for what is included with each level).
Transfers are administered by BMC, which has no affiliation with Property Manager.
