Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest, Hokie Hideaway is a perfect spot for luxury-seeking adventurers. Watauga Lake, the Watauga Lake Winery, and Villa Nove Vineyard are within a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The lake is visible from the house, and there are marinas offering boat rentals and water sports equipment for fishing and swimming.
Along with three separate sleeping areas, this cabin boasts a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a stacked stone gas fireplace, and a spacious kitchen with an attached dining area. The main level includes two queen suites, each with an ensuite bathroom, and the third bedroom on the lower level has a king bed with a shared hallway bathroom. The lower level family room has a second full kitchen, a comfortable sectional sofa, large TV, and a 3-in-1 game table that converts to air hockey, billiards, or ping pong. Each level has a deck and patio space for enjoying the outdoor views, and a short stepped path leads to the outdoor fire pit. There is a Blackstone propane griddle that also serves as a grill. The lower-level family room has a pull-out sofa. In addition to a pull-out sofa in the loft, there are comfortable accommodations for up to ten guests.
Additional amenities at Hokie Hideaway include central heating and air conditioning, wifi, and TVs set up with ROKU guest mode, allowing guests to select their checkout date for automatic log-out of all personal streaming apps. Each corner of the cabin has ring flood lights and cameras which capture the yard and front porches. Hokie Hideaway is dog friendly. Additional pet fees apply.
****Access Disclosure: The road to Hokie Hideaway includes traveling on a very narrow, curvy, state-maintained, paved road for several miles. Once through the gates, the HOA manages the community road maintenance. During winter, the state portion of the road may not be serviceable for snow removal. Hokie Hideaway is available for Spring, Summer, and Fall bookings!
