Welcome to Lookout Lodge!
Lookout Lodge is a 5BR/3BA cabin centrally located on Beech Mountain. Located less than a mile away from the year-round Beech Mountain Resort, guests enjoy access to winter activities, including some of the best skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing on the East coast. The slopes convert to hiking trails, mountain biking trails, chairlift rides, and disc golf during the warmer months. Additional hiking trails beside cascading mountain streams are abundant. A short four-mile drive, Buckeye Recreation Center provides basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, a playground, and a picturesque lake for fishing and paddle-boating. The town of Banner Elk is six miles away at the base of the mountain, with attractions like High Country UTV Tours, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and Wildcat Lake. Other area attractions include the iconic Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Caverns, white-water rafting, Hawksnest Ziplines, and Grandfather Mountain.
With vaulted tongue-in-groove ceilings, a two-story stone fireplace, and scenic views from every window, experience the renewal of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Lookout Lodge. There is a well-equipped kitchen with all conveniences available, dining space for 12 at the main dining table and bar, and a covered deck where you can enjoy the cool temperatures and take in the surrounding views.
Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
-King Bedroom on the main level, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower- sleeps 2
-Queen Bedroom on the main level, shared bathroom with shower- sleeps 2
-King Bedroom on the upper level, shared bathroom with combo tub and shower- sleeps 2
-King Bedroom on the upper level, shared bathroom with combo tub and shower- sleeps 2
-Lower Level Sleeping Space with 2 Full beds, a Twin-over-Twin Bunkbed, and a Queen sleeper sofa, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower- sleeps 8
A game room with a pool table, bar area, and HDTV with cozy seating is located on the lower level. There is also a fire pit in the backyard. This cabin allows up to two dogs, additional pet fees apply. There is parking for three (3) vehicles. Access to this home is down a flight of 17 steps. This home does not have A/C, but guests can enjoy the mild summer temperatures of Beech Mountain with the windows open.
*Allows pets with an additional fee paid after booking. The fee is $35 per pet per day.
