Enjoy mountain comfort in this four-bedroom, two-story home atop the peaks of Beech Mountain. The living room, deck, and master bedroom boast mountain views, and a stone, gas-burning fireplace anchors the living room with vaulted ceilings. The galley-style kitchen is comfortably stocked and offers four barstool seats for auxiliary dining in addition to the six-seat dining table.
Downstairs features the King Master bedroom with a private bath and a bunk room off the main hallway. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms, one King and one Queen, in addition to the loft living room, which features a card table and two sofas, both of which double as sleeping spots. You can enjoy TV and streaming your favorite shows from any bedroom, as each features Smart TVs. The deck holds a large new hot tub that accommodates up to eight (8) people.
This property is pet-friendly and has parking for four (4) vehicles. This property is located on Beech Mountain, only minutes away from the ski slopes and 15 minutes from Banner Elk. This gives access to many of the High Country’s best attractions like Sugar Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, and many other favorites.

Beech Mountain Club
Guests with a reservation at Resting on the Ridge are eligible to apply for a membership transfer to the Beech Mountain Club (BMC) for the dates of the reservation.
BMC policies apply to a membership transfer. Please read the policy document carefully.
Upon booking, guests will receive an email with instructions, the BMC transfer policies, and the transfer application. The application must be submitted to the club by the guest at least 3 days prior to the transfer start date, which can be no sooner than your arrival date.
Please note BMC Policy 4a. : owners membership is limited to two transfers per month based on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible. CCR is unable to inform inquiring guests if two transfers are already accepted in a calendar month. Guests will need to contact BMC for information.
A membership transfer fee starting at $300 is charged to the guest by BMC upon the start date of the membership transfer.
Memberships start at the social level. Guests may upgrade membership with additional fees paid to BMC (see the BMC website for what is included with each level).
Transfers are administered by BMC, which has no affiliation with Property Manager.
