Mallard Cove Marina, Fish Springs Marina, and Lakeshore Resort Marina offering boat rentals and more, are less than 30 minutes from Eagles Peak.
The main area is open and bright, with warm hardwood details and natural light pouring in from the wall of windows. The living room centers around a stone fireplace with gas logs. A large flat-screen TV, Alexa technology, and ample leather seating make it a cozy gathering place. A dining table for six is open to the well-stocked kitchen with labeled cabinets for ease of orienting yourself. Along with the standard pots and pans, the kitchen includes a crock pot, Keurig and drip pot coffee makers, and communal coffee pods and spices. (These items are for guests to use, restocked at intervals by the owner, and often supplemented by leftovers from happy guests). A foosball table in the main area provides fun family entertainment. There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a step stool for kids.
The master king bedroom on the main floor has a flat-screen TV. There is access from this bedroom to the porch and 180-degree views out over Watauga Lake. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. One is a king bedroom with a flat-screen TV and a private balcony overlooking the lake. There is seating on the balcony, a perfect place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. The second bedroom is a bunk room with a twin-over-full bed and a large flat-screen TV with an Xbox game system. These rooms share a full bathroom with a kid’s step stool and a combination tub and shower.
This home is pet-friendly and allows up to two dogs with a reservation. Standard pet fees will apply. There is a Blu-ray player in the house and USB charging ports thorough out the cabin. A whole-house generator will provide power even in an outage. The owners have provided a canoe for your enjoyment on the lake. There are multiple life vests in the cabin for your safety on the water.
