Welcome to Fireside Lodge!
Fireside Lodge is a cozy mountain cabin with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Located just under 2 miles away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this home is a perfect ski vacation getaway. There are adventures to be had year-round on Beech Mountain, which boasts over 50 acres of developed parkland, almost 10 acres of lakes, over 28 miles of designated hiking and biking trails. Within 5 miles of the home, there are attractions like Emerald Outback, a trail park fantastic for hiking and biking, The Land of Oz, which offers magical family events throughout the year, and Buckeye Recreation Center, where you can easily rent a canoe or pedal boat to explore Buckeye Lake. Downtown Banner Elk is a short 15-minute drive away, with great local restaurants, as well as grocery stores, gas stations, and other shopping opportunities.
Inside the cabin, the spacious main living area features plenty of comfortable seating around the wood-burning stone fireplace, warm hardwood floors, and vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceilings with lots of natural light. Open to the main living area, the designer kitchen is well-equipped with beautiful granite countertops. The dining table has seating for 8, with an additional 4-seat dining table in the adjacent sunroom. This indoor porch is surrounded by windows overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Along with the extra dining space, there are recliners and an oversized chair in this room to relax in while enjoying the seasonal view.
The Master Bedroom is on the main level and has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. Upstairs, there is another queen bedroom which shares a full bathroom with the bunk room. The bunk room has a queen bed and a queen-over-queen bunk bed. Both rooms have flat-screen TVs.
The lower level offers a nicely finished billiard room with a wet bar, a stone fireplace with gas logs, a recently updated foosball table, and ample seating around a flat-screen TV. Right outside, on the lower covered deck, is a hot tub and an additional private seating area. The backyard, frequently visited by deer and other wildlife, features an expansive patio with a fire pit, a perfect way to end a day of adventures.
