Escape to the Blue Ridge Mountains at 1 Kingfisher, an elegantly appointed three (3) bedroom cabin that accommodates nine (9) people, has three (3) separate living areas, and sits amidst mature native pine trees. Kingfisher, centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone, is convenient to many High Country attractions, including Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Hawksnest, Moses Cone Estate Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The great room boasts soaring, vaulted tongue-and-groove pine ceilings, wood floors, an HDTV, and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Dining is open to the great room and kitchen, seating six guests comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped and features granite countertops and stainless appliances. The main level master suite offers a custom log king-sized bed, an HDTV, and private access to the deck. The ensuite master bathroom features a double vanity, jacuzzi tub, and a tiled walk-in shower.
Upstairs is the loft area overlooking the great room and the dining room. The loft offers a second 4-seat table for extra dining space or puzzles, games, chess, or checkers. There is also a fun tee-pee for the children. Off of the loft sitting area is a full bathroom with a combination tub and shower and two more bedrooms with custom log furniture, one featuring a queen bed, while the other has a twin-over-full bunk bed.
The downstairs den/media room has ample, comfy seating and an HDTV to watch the game or enjoy a movie, a queen-size sleeper sofa for extra accommodations, a third full bathroom with a combination tub/shower, and a laundry room. A covered deck with a hot tub is off the den with steps down from the lower deck leading to a stone courtyard with a fire pit.
Please note there are security cameras at the front door and the back door.
