Welcome to Valle View!
***Valle View is at the top of a privately maintained gravel road. The road is not plowed following snowfall. The mountainous road is uphill, curvy, and mostly one lane, so 4WD and tire chains are essential during winter snowfall and accumulation. Without this, you will likely not be able to access or depart safely from the property. If you are not prepared to use chains plus 4WD, this property is not your best choice for a winter vacation. The driveway and parking area will not be cleaned or plowed after a snowfall.***
Valle View, perched at the top of a quiet ridge in Valle Crucis with a handful of other cabins spread out to offer elbow room and some privacy, delivers delightful long-range layered mountain views. The property has a level front and side yard with lots of room to play, a wood-burning fire pit with cherry log stools, and a small fenced-in side yard, nice for guests with a dog. The backyard and covered rear deck are private. The village of Valle Crucis, with the original Mast General Store, restaurants and shops, a wonderful park, and access to the Watauga River, are all just minutes away.
An open-concept great room with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, leather furniture, a stone wood-burning fireplace (not available for use in Summer), and a large HDTV share space with the dining area. The kitchen has stainless appliances and a gas cooktop. The dining area has a banquet-style dining table which can expand to seat up to eight (8) guests. Sliding glass doors open to a large covered porch on the rear with outdoor dining and entertainment furniture, skylights and ceiling fans, a gas grill, and a hot tub, all overlooking miles of unobstructed mountain views.
The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, an HDTV, and a full hallway bathroom with a large step-in shower directly across the hall from the bedroom.
Upstairs is a loft-style bedroom suite with a king bed, an HDTV, and a queen-size sofa. There is a second full bathroom upstairs as well, with a combination tub/shower.
Valle View has comforts like a washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, three (3) HDTVs with Roku stick/streaming capability, WiFi internet, Sonos audio, and plenty of games and books for guests to enjoy.
Valle View is pet-friendly, dogs only, and one (1) dog per reservation maximum with a 50-pound weight limit. The dog must be current on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. The dog must be crated if left unattended and is not allowed to jump on furniture or beds. Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning made necessary by their accompanying pet.
