With effortless access from Highways 421 and 221, you’ll find yourself ideally situated less than ten miles from Boone and West Jefferson, and in close proximity to an array of High Country attractions including the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a great room with impressive vaulted ceilings and polished hardwood floors, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere. The open-concept dining area seats six and adjoins a state-of-the-art kitchen, making it perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The main level also features two elegantly appointed bedrooms, each equipped with an HDTV, flanking a beautifully designed bathroom. Enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening on the stylish covered front porch with a two-seat glider, or the expansive rear deck with a new hot tub and a gas grill.
The upper level houses a luxurious master suite, complete with a plush queen bed, a full ensuite bathroom featuring a sleek soaking tub and a separate shower, and an additional HDTV.
The Refuge extends its modern elegance outdoors with a picturesque natural pathway leading to a creekside fire pit and picnic area, set against a backdrop of rolling land and a serene mountain stream. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, exploring the private grounds, or simply enjoying the tranquility of this secluded location, The Refuge offers a refined escape into nature.
*Please Note: A pathway from the house leads down to the hollow, which features the creek, fire pit, picnic area, and peaceful grounds to explore. An outdoor lighting system will offer visibility for navigating the path in the evening. The mountain terrain can be dangerous if careless or not paying attention. Rocks can be slick, especially those in or near the creek. Terrain can be inconsistent and can cause twisted ankles and falls. Please explore with care and be safe.
